Dreams of former co-workers/friends in current dreams

My current dreams co-star my previous boss, previous co-workers and former friends at random. I never think about them in life but they show up in my dreams. And in my dreams, we are close, as if we've never separated over time. My dad also shows up in my dreams about once a month and we are not close. Do you find this valuable?
